YETI Unveils First Flagship Store in Southeast Asia at ONE BANGKOK

The American outdoor lifestyle brand aims for 150 million THB in first-year sales.
YETI, the renowned American outdoor lifestyle brand, has officially opened its first flagship store in Asia at ONE BANGKOK, following a collaboration with ELEMENT 72, a leading distributor of premium urban lifestyle and outdoor products in Thailand.

The newly launched store comes with an ambitious sales target of 150 million THB in its inaugural year.

Charles Pinthanan, Managing Director and Founder of ELEMENT 72, highlighted Thailand’s appeal as a prime tourist destination and a hub linking people from around the world, making it an ideal location for the first YETI flagship store in the region.

Last year, sales of YETI products in Thailand ranked among the highest compared to other Southeast Asian countries, with hydration products, particularly water bottles and tumblers, being the best sellers.

The flagship store, located on the second floor of the PARADE zone at ONE BANGKOK, features a comprehensive range of YETI products, emulating the experience of shopping in a store in the United States.

Shoppers can find a variety of items including tumblers, coolers, and carry bags.

Among the store's highlights are:

- A limited edition YETI Rambler Tumbler Thailand's Edition, inspired by Thai culture and identity, with only 150 pieces available.

- A special Thai flag version of the YETI sticker.

- The YETI V Series cooler, made entirely of stainless steel, known for its durability and superior cooling capabilities, which has not been sold outside the United States before.

- Newly launched products such as tumblers in Fire Fly Yellow and Big Sky Blue.

- A free customization service for engraving names on purchased products, available immediately.

This flagship store aims to provide a complete experience for YETI enthusiasts and customers throughout Asia, with Thailand positioned as a central locale.

YETI was founded in 2006 by brothers Roy and Ryan Seiders, who were seeking durable coolers for their outdoor activities, including fishing.

Their journey began with finding an ice chest from a factory in Thailand, which led to the development of their own line of coolers designed to withstand demanding conditions.

The brand's strength and quality have captured consumer loyalty, with coolers built to withstand the weight of a grizzly bear and maintain superior cold retention.

The company has since expanded its product range significantly.

Recently, YETI Holdings, Inc. reported worldwide sales for fiscal year 2024 totaling 1.83 billion USD, a growth of 10% from the previous year.

Sales in the United States reached 1.49 billion USD, a 7% increase year-over-year, while international sales amounted to 339.4 million USD, reflecting a notable 30% growth from 259.8 million USD the prior year.
