AIS and ZTE Advance AI-Driven 5G Technology Commercialization at Thailand’s BMMF15
Thailand’s leading mobile operator and global ICT partner deploy AI-enabled AIR RAN solutions to elevate 5G network performance and user experience
At the Bangkok Mobile & Media Forum Fifteen (BMMF15), Advanced Info Service (AIS), Thailand’s largest mobile network operator, and ZTE Corporation marked a significant commercial milestone by showcasing the deployment of AI-enabled Radio Access Network (AIR RAN) technologies aimed at delivering differentiated 5G experiences across consumer and enterprise segments.
Building on their strategic collaboration to develop a next-generation 5G Smart Autonomous Network via the AIS-ZTE A-Z Center — Thailand’s first 5G innovation hub — the partners are advancing the commercialization of intelligent and efficient network infrastructure that integrates AI capabilities directly into radio access operations.
This initiative reflects both companies’ commitments to powering Thailand’s digital economy with stable, responsive, and high-performance connectivity.
The integration of ZTE’s AIR RAN architectures is designed to enhance resource optimization, improve spectrum efficiency and support emerging use cases requiring low latency and reliable throughput, such as immersive applications and industrial automation, by leveraging native AI intelligence at network edge.
The collaboration underscores AIS’s ambition to evolve into a Cognitive Tech-Co by delivering tailored, high-quality 5G services to consumers and enterprises while contributing to broader digital transformation goals across Thailand’s digital ecosystem.
