AVATR Begins Mass Production of Right-Hand-Drive AVATR 07, Marks Strategic Shipment to Thailand

First right-hand-drive units of AVATR’s flagship electric SUV roll off production line and are being dispatched to Thailand as part of the brand’s expanding Southeast Asian presence
The electric vehicle maker AVATR Technology has commenced mass production of the right-hand-drive version of its flagship AVATR 07 SUV, with the first batch now en route to Thailand, marking a significant milestone in the company’s international expansion.

The rollout of these units from AVATR’s Chongqing production facility underscores the brand’s commitment to growing its footprint in Southeast Asia following its initial entry into the Thai market with the AVATR 11 SUV. The 07 model, which made its overseas debut in Thailand in November, will join the existing lineup and bolster AVATR’s product offerings in the country, catering to discerning customers seeking premium intelligent electric mobility.

Designed with both extended-range electric vehicle (EREV) and pure battery-electric vehicle (BEV) variants, the AVATR 07 combines cutting-edge technology, performance and comfort.

Standard features include advanced driver-assistance systems and a sophisticated in-car cockpit powered by an integrated smart operating environment.

The commencement of right-hand-drive production responds to local market requirements and reflects AVATR’s broader strategy of tailoring products to right-hand-drive regions beyond China’s left-hand-drive home market.

Thailand has been a strategic priority for AVATR since its official market entry in September two thousand twenty-four, when the AVATR 11 model was launched and subsequently delivered to customers.

The introduction of the AVATR 07 to Thai roads signals not only confidence in local demand but also a deeper commitment to supporting the country’s transition to electrified transport.

AVATR’s ongoing efforts align with broader industry trends in Thailand, where electric and intelligent vehicles play an increasing role in automotive production and adoption.

With shipments underway, the brand is positioned to enhance its presence and meet growing consumer appetite for premium new energy vehicles in the Thai market and beyond.
