Bosch and SRA Seal Partnership to Advance High-Performance EV Development in Thailand
MoU signed to co-develop electric powertrain systems, energy technologies, and advanced vehicle controls for hypercars and supercars
Bosch Engineering and Siam Racing Automobiles (SRA) have formally signed a Memorandum of Understanding to collaborate on high-performance electric vehicle innovation in Thailand.
The partnership will target subsystems for hypercars and supercars, focusing on electric powertrain architecture, energy systems, vehicle control technologies, and production-ready engineering to accelerate the industrialisation of advanced mobility solutions.
Johannes-Joerg Rueger, President of Bosch Engineering, said the agreement underscores Bosch’s mission to deliver engineering excellence and drive breakthrough technologies in high-performance EVs. The initiative is also intended to strengthen Thailand’s standing as a hub for sustainable automotive innovation.
Joseph Hong, Managing Director of Bosch Thailand and Laos, highlighted that the collaboration will invest in Thai talent through development programs, knowledge exchange, and engineering projects, aiming to empower local engineers and researchers.
Bosch emphasised its focus on designing smarter, cleaner, and more responsive systems that combine performance, safety, and sustainability without compromising the driving experience.
Hong stressed that the future of mobility must be intelligent, efficient, and rooted in community needs.
For SRA, with its deep motorsport heritage, the partnership represents an opportunity to bring Thai craftsmanship and performance expertise onto the global EV stage.
Founder Lt Col M.R.W. Biranubongse Bhanubandh said the MoU sets the foundation for the future of high-performance mobility, reflecting Thai motorsport’s legacy of competing at international standards.
Both companies affirmed their commitment to co-develop transformative technologies that will elevate Thailand’s automotive sector and contribute to the global shift toward intelligent, sustainable mobility.
