Bosch Recognizes Young Innovators for STEM Contributions
Thai students awarded for sustainable tech solutions in 'Innovision Young Gen with Bosch' campaign
A global technology leader has reaffirmed its commitment to fostering STEM education by empowering the next generation to drive Thailand's innovation economy.
The company hosted the 'Innovision Young Gen with Bosch' campaign, providing a platform for Thai high school and university students to showcase innovative ideas under the theme 'BOSCH and Beyond.' The initiative aligns with the company's global vision, promoting sustainable technology through youth-driven innovation.The campaign drew entries from over 70 student teams nationwide.
Finalists were selected through a balanced scoring system comprising expert evaluation and public voting.
Three winning teams were chosen in both the high school and university categories.
In the high school category, the winning teams included Kru Mam Sang Luey from Nawaminthrachinuthit Satriwitthaya 2 School, Handsome All the Time from PSU Wittayanusorn School, and New Normal Roses from Suankularb Wittayalai School.The university category winners were Neuro Spoke Spake from Chulalongkorn University, Suspaceability from Thammasat University, and T-Rex from King Mongkut's Institute of Technology Ladkrabang.
These awarded projects reflect the young generation's interest in trends such as road safety solutions driven by AI technology, addressing efforts to support Sustainable Development Goals involving Good Health and Well-Being, Advancement in Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure, Sustainable Cities and Communities, and Partnerships for the Goals.Additionally, Smart Home and Sustainable Materials were highlighted, featuring winning teams' ideas towards Circular Economy and Energy Efficiency to promote sustainable consumption as well as long-term cost reduction.
These innovative projects support Sustainable Development Goals addressing concerns over affordability, clean energy, sustainable cities and communities, and climate actions.The company operates in four key sectors: Mobility, Industrial Technology, Consumer Goods, and Energy and Building Technology, leading in AI innovation and green technology to help address climate challenges through solutions aligned with the UN Sustainable Development Goals.
