Thailand's AI software market is set to grow by 43% annually, reaching over 5 billion baht (one hundred forty-one point six million dollars) by 2027, reports global IT researcher IDC.

Alan Priestley, VP Analyst at Gartner, attributes global growth to rising demand for high-performance AI chips in data centers, driven by the surge in generative AI applications.

He estimates that the value of AI accelerators in servers will reach 21 billion dollars in 2024, increasing to 33 billion dollars by 2028.

AI personal computers are rapidly being adopted, expected to make up 22% of total PC shipments by 2024.

Gartner projects that by the end of 2026, all enterprise PC purchases will be AI-enabled.

These computers with neural processing units (NPUs) offer higher performance and efficiency for continuous AI task processing.

The global AI semiconductor market, expected to grow significantly, will see the fastest growth in 2024, with revenue rising from 53.7 billion dollars in 2023 to 71.3 billion dollars in 2024, and reaching 92 billion dollars by 2025.
