Gold prices in Thailand see a decline of 600 baht, marking the lowest level of the year.
On 15 February 2025, the Gold Traders Association of Thailand announced a significant reduction in gold prices, with a decrease of 600 baht per baht weight.
The selling price for gold bars has now been set at 46,150 baht per baht weight, while gold ornaments are priced at 46,650 baht per baht weight.
As of Saturday morning, the buying price for gold ornaments was recorded at 45,222.28 baht per baht weight, while gold bars were set at 46,050 baht per baht weight.
This downward adjustment in prices indicates a further dip from the previous day's closing figures, which were 45,813.52 baht for gold ornaments and 46,650 baht for gold bars in buying prices, and 47,250 baht for gold ornaments and 46,750 baht for gold bars in selling prices.
The market observed six price adjustments on Friday, reflecting dynamic trading conditions.
This latest decrease positions gold prices at their lowest point in 2025 thus far, following ongoing fluctuations influenced by both domestic and global economic factors.
