Tomorrowland Announces Historic First Full-Scale Asian Festival in Pattaya This December
The iconic Belgian electronic music event will take over Wisdom Valley in Thailand with a three-day spectacle drawing global audiences
Tomorrowland, one of the world’s most celebrated electronic dance music festivals, has confirmed that it will stage its first full-scale edition in Asia in Pattaya, Thailand, from December 11 to 13, 2026. The groundbreaking event will take place at Wisdom Valley, a sweeping 237-acre site in Chonburi’s Bang Lamung District, and is expected to attract more than fifty thousand visitors per day from across the globe, reinforcing Thailand’s status as a leading destination for international tourism and cultural events.
Organisers, in partnership with the Thai Government and the Tourism Authority of Thailand, announced that Tomorrowland Thailand will mirror the immersive scale and production values of its flagship Belgian edition while introducing bespoke stages and experiences created specifically for the Asian audience.
Iconic elements such as the Mainstage, CORE and Freedom stages will feature alongside innovative new installations designed to blend music, art and environment in the festival’s signature storytelling style.
Thailand was selected over other potential Asian venues in recognition of its growing influence in global music, innovation and experience-driven tourism, organisers said.
The event follows approval by Thailand’s Board of Investment, which granted incentives and regulatory support to the joint venture behind the festival, underlining the government’s commitment to positioning the country as a hub for world-class cultural attractions.
Over five years, the project is projected to generate a combined economic value of at least twenty-one billion baht, with more than sixty per cent of attendees expected to be international visitors.
Pre-registration for Tomorrowland Thailand opened on January 8, with hotel packages — including shuttle services to the site — scheduled to go on sale on February 28 and worldwide ticket sales set to begin on March 7. The announcement has ignited excitement within the global festival community, as fans anticipate the fusion of Thailand’s natural landscape and hospitality with Tomorrowland’s globally renowned production, live performances and cultural impact.
Organisers plan to release further details on the festival’s theme, artist lineup and experiences in the coming months.
