Yodchanan Apologises for Joining Bhumjaithai-Led Coalition, Pledges Full Commitment to Economic Revival
Political figure expresses regret to supporters while affirming support for government stability and Thailand’s economic recovery agenda
Thai political figure Yodchanan has issued a public apology to supporters after confirming his decision to join the Bhumjaithai-led coalition government, stating that his priority now is to contribute to national stability and accelerate Thailand’s economic recovery.
In a statement released following his formal alignment with the ruling bloc, Yodchanan acknowledged that some constituents were disappointed by his move.
He said he respected differing views but emphasised that his decision was guided by what he described as the broader national interest.
“I understand that many people may feel let down,” he said, adding that he takes responsibility for the political consequences of his choice.
However, he stressed that Thailand is facing economic headwinds and requires unity and decisive action to restore growth momentum.
The Bhumjaithai-led coalition has positioned economic revitalisation at the centre of its policy agenda, focusing on investment attraction, infrastructure development and support for small and medium-sized enterprises.
Yodchanan said he would devote his efforts to strengthening confidence among domestic businesses and international investors, underscoring that political stability is a critical foundation for sustainable expansion.
He also pledged to maintain open communication with voters, noting that trust must be rebuilt through transparent work and tangible results.
According to his remarks, joining the coalition does not mean abandoning core principles but rather engaging constructively within the governing framework to deliver policy outcomes.
Thailand’s economic outlook has shown gradual improvement in recent quarters, supported by tourism recovery and government stimulus measures.
Political leaders have highlighted the importance of coordinated policy execution to ensure that growth translates into broader household benefits.
Yodchanan concluded that while political alliances may shift, his commitment to public service and economic progress remains unchanged.
He called on all sides to focus on cooperation over division as the country works to reinforce resilience and long-term prosperity.
