Exclusive AI Tools Available on Latest Apple Devices
Apple has begun rolling out its new artificial intelligence (AI) tools, Apple Intelligence, to a select group of iPhone users.
Announced in June, these features became available on Monday to owners of the latest iPhone models, including all iPhone 16 versions and the iPhone 15 Pro and Pro Max.
Key features include notification summaries, writing assistance tools, and an upgraded interface for Siri.
While these tools are also available on the latest Mac computers and iPad tablets equipped with Apple's newest chips, they arrive later than AI features provided by competitors such as Google and Samsung.
With this release, Apple CEO Tim Cook proclaimed a 'new era' for its products.
Additionally, Apple has announced a bounty of up to $1 million for ethical hackers who can expose vulnerabilities in its AI software.
Future updates are expected to include functionalities such as generating images and emojis from text inputs.
Rivals like Google and Samsung have already introduced AI capabilities that translate conversations in real-time and organize notes, with Samsung further expanding its Galaxy AI to older devices.
Although Apple introduces these features later than its competitors, Cook emphasized the company’s focus on achieving excellence over being first in the market.
