Bangkok and Irish Officials Convene to Address Local Development Issues
The Governor of Bangkok meets with the Minister of State for Local Government and Planning to discuss shared challenges in urban development.
The Governor of Bangkok recently convened with the Minister of State for Local Government and Planning from Ireland and their delegation to address local development issues impacting both cities.
As part of the meeting, they toured the Bangkok City Model Exhibition, where the Governor gifted a souvenir to the Irish minister.
Among those present were Pornphrom Vikitsreth, Adviser to the Governor of Bangkok and Chief Sustainability Officer for the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration (BMA), along with officials from the Environment Department and International Affairs Department.
The event occurred at the Benjakitti Forest Museum Building in the Khlong Toei district.
The purpose of the meeting was to promote collaboration and the exchange of knowledge between the two cities, focusing on shared challenges in local development and city management.
