SoftBank Group from Japan, along with South Korea's SK Networks, LG Electronics, and Hanwha Financial, have joined forces with a Thai conglomerate to establish a $130 million fund focused on AI startups.
This initiative aims to address the increasing need for substantial and swift investments to keep startups competitive.
The fund, created by the founders of venture capital firm The Edgeof, is expected to be finalized by the end of August 2024.
