Kim received a teaset and a luxury Russian-made Aurus car as gifts during the visit, while details of Putin's gifts remain undisclosed but were hinted to be related to his image.
The deepening of Moscow and Pyongyang ties has sparked concern in the West, amid suspicions that Russia has been using North Korean weaponry in its military campaign in Ukraine.
Kim stated that relations with Russia have reached a new high and that Putin's visit would strengthen their countries' 'ardent friendship'.
