Bangkok Metropolitan Administration Enhances Radio Communication Skills for Officials
Training program focuses on efficient communication strategies using frequency modulation radios.
The Bangkok Metropolitan Administration (BMA) has launched a training initiative aimed at enhancing the radio communication skills of its officials.
Directed by Anuchit Pipitkul, the Director-General of the City Law Enforcement Department, the training took place on Tuesday at the Thonburi District Office.
The program emphasizes the importance of effective communication in supporting operational efficiency among government officials.
Anuchit Pipitkul highlighted the advantages of radio communication, noting it as a rapid and cost-effective means for officials to receive information and collaborate on operations.
He asserted that a foundational understanding of communication tools is essential for officials to execute their duties effectively.
The Deputy Permanent Secretary for BMA reiterated the significance of evolving communication technologies in modern governance.
Frequency modulation communication radios are increasingly utilized in government operations.
However, the flexibility in frequency selection poses potential risks to communication security, necessitating stringent protocols for usage.
Anuchit emphasized that officials must be duly trained in the correct operation of communication equipment in adherence to government regulations to ensure the security and efficiency of communications between various agencies.
This training is anticipated to facilitate faster and more effective communication across departments.
The infrastructure supporting this initiative includes the Amarin Centre, a communication hub under the City Law Enforcement Department, which oversees the coordination of communication networks among BMA executives and agencies throughout Bangkok.
Compliance with regulations set forth by the National Broadcasting and Telecommunications Commission (NBTC) was reiterated as a critical component of the training.
Participants were encouraged to gain proficiency in using communication radios, understanding relevant regulations, and maintaining their equipment effectively.
The program was supported by instructors from the NBTC and the National Intelligence Agency, acknowledged by Anuchit for their contributions.
The training enhances the capacity of BMA officials to navigate the complexities of radio communication, thereby bolstering the overall functionality of governmental operations.
