Caltex Expands Network in Thailand Through Strategic Partnership
Star Fuels Marketing has partnered with Pure Thai Energy to expand the Caltex petrol station network in Thailand. This partnership will increase Caltex-branded stations from 450 to 528 and is expected to boost market share and monthly oil sales. Additionally, the company plans to expand non-oil offerings and enhance customer satisfaction.
Star Fuels Marketing, the exclusive licensee of Caltex fuels in Thailand, has partnered with Pure Thai Energy to expand its network of petrol stations in the country.
The collaboration aims to boost Caltex's market share in the competitive domestic fuel retail sector.
Pure Thai Energy's 78 petrol stations will be renovated under the Caltex brand, increasing Caltex-branded stations from 450 to 528.
Star Fuels Marketing projects its market share to rise from 5.3% to 6.3% and monthly oil sales to increase from 120 million to 140 million litres.
A 125-million-baht marketing budget will be utilized to strengthen the Caltex brand and improve customer communication.
The company also plans to expand non-oil offerings like coffee shops, restaurants, convenience stores, and car services, aiming to cover 85% of all Caltex stations by the end of 2025.
