British Reality TV Personality Jordan Wright Found Dead in Thailand at 33

Authorities investigate unexplained death in Phuket after no signs of foul play were initially identified
British reality television personality Jordan Wright has been found dead in Thailand at the age of 33, prompting an ongoing investigation by local authorities into the circumstances surrounding his death.

Wright, known for his appearances on British reality shows including The Only Way Is Essex and Ex on the Beach, was discovered in a drainage area near Bang Tao Beach in Phuket on March 14. His body was found by a local worker after he had been reported missing when he failed to check out of his hotel as scheduled.

Police have indicated that there were no immediate signs of physical assault or forced entry in Wright’s hotel room, where he had been staying alone.

His personal belongings, including a hotel key card and mobile phone, were recovered near the scene, and investigators believe he had been dead for less than two days when he was found.

Security footage reviewed by authorities showed Wright moving restlessly around the hotel premises before leaving the area.

His recorded movements are understood to have led toward the location where his body was later discovered.

The exact cause of death has not yet been determined, and officials are awaiting the results of a formal autopsy, which is expected to examine potential contributing factors, including possible substance involvement.

Wright had recently relocated to Thailand and had been sharing images of his new life in Phuket on social media in the days before his death, describing the move as a fresh start.

Tributes have since been shared by friends, former colleagues, and fellow television personalities, reflecting on his time in the public eye and his life beyond television, where he had also worked as a firefighter.

Authorities in Thailand continue to examine the case, with officials stating that all available evidence, including surveillance footage and forensic findings, will be considered before reaching a final conclusion.
