MTech Reaffirms Longstanding Partnership with Alimak to Support Industrial Development in Thailand
Thai engineering firm highlights decades of cooperation with Swedish vertical access specialist as infrastructure and port industries expand
Machine Technology Co., Ltd., widely known as MTech, has highlighted its longstanding partnership with Swedish engineering group Alimak, underscoring the role the collaboration has played in supporting industrial and infrastructure development in Thailand.
The Thai company said its relationship with Alimak spans many years and has helped introduce advanced vertical access equipment and elevator systems to major logistics, construction and port operations across the country.
Through the cooperation, MTech distributes and services Alimak equipment while providing maintenance and spare-parts support to customers in Thailand and neighbouring markets.
Alimak, a global engineering group headquartered in Sweden, specialises in vertical access solutions such as industrial elevators, construction hoists and mast-climbing platforms designed for work at height in demanding environments.
The company operates internationally and supplies equipment used in sectors including construction, energy, maritime operations and heavy industry.
MTech said the partnership has allowed Thai operators to adopt advanced technology developed in Europe while benefiting from local engineering expertise and technical support.
Equipment supplied through the collaboration is used in a variety of industrial settings, including ports, container terminals and rail facilities where vertical access systems help improve safety and operational efficiency.
According to the company, customers include public infrastructure operators and private logistics firms.
Installations are used at major maritime facilities such as the Port Authority of Thailand and several container terminals at Laem Chabang, one of Southeast Asia’s largest deep-sea ports.
The technology is also deployed at railway logistics facilities and emerging port developments in different regions of the country.
MTech said its operational structure combines sales, technical service and maintenance teams to support large industrial customers, ensuring equipment reliability and long-term operational performance.
The company has also expanded services to Myanmar while maintaining its main operational base in Thailand.
Industry observers note that partnerships between international technology developers and local engineering firms have played an important role in modernising Southeast Asia’s logistics and construction sectors.
By integrating global technology with local servicing capacity, companies are able to improve safety standards, productivity and infrastructure resilience.
MTech said its continued cooperation with Alimak reflects a shared commitment to technological innovation and industrial growth, positioning the partnership to support future infrastructure and logistics projects as Thailand’s economy and transport networks continue to expand.
