Centara Hotels & Resorts, a leading Thailand-based hotel operator, has signed a hotel management agreement with Varivana Resort Koh Phangan Co for the Varivana Resort Koh Phangan.

This marks Centara's debut property on the island, and it began operations under Centara on September 16, 2024.

The resort is a 39-key boutique hotel that first opened in January 2020.

This addition expands Centara's portfolio to 93 properties across major destinations, including the Maldives, Vietnam, and the United Arab Emirates.

Thirayuth Chirathivat, CEO of Centara, stated the company is thrilled to enter Koh Phangan, a rising leisure and 'workation' destination.

Hongnapa Lawanangkul, owner of Varivana Resort Koh Phangan, expressed excitement about the partnership, believing it will elevate the resort’s unique offerings.

The resort, known for its loft-style design and modern comforts, offers panoramic views, a rooftop saltwater infinity pool, a spa, and a restaurant and bar.

Guests can also enjoy access to Thong Sala Pier and various island activities, including snorkelling and the Full Moon party.
