Thailand Launches Digital Nomad Visa for Remote Workers
Thailand has introduced the Destination Thailand Visa, aimed at attracting remote workers and digital nomads. This five-year, multiple-entry visa permits stays of up to one hundred eighty days, extendable for another one hundred eighty days. The visa costs ten thousand Thai Baht and is available from late June or early July.
Thailand has introduced the Destination Thailand Visa (DTV) to attract remote workers and digital nomads.
This multiple-entry visa is valid for five years and allows stays of up to 180 days, extendable for another 180 days.
The DTV provides a legal framework for freelancers to work while immersing in Thai culture.
The visa is suitable for remote workers, freelancers, and those pursuing cultural activities such as Thai cooking and Muay Thai, as well as for attending seminars and seeking medical treatments.
Available from late June or early July, the application fee for the DTV is ten thousand Thai Baht.
