253 fatalities and 1,495 injuries reported in 1,538 road accidents nationwide during the seven-day period
A total of 253 people were killed and 1,495 injured in road accidents that occurred between 11 and 17 April.
The majority of these incidents took place across various provinces, with Bangkok experiencing the highest number of fatalities at 19 deaths.
In contrast, six provinces - Nakhon Nayok, Phichit, Phuket, Ranong, Satun, and Sing Buri - did not report any road-related deaths during this time.
Phatthalung recorded the highest number of accidents and injuries over the holiday period, contributing to the overall total of 1,538 accidents recorded nationwide.
