A special task force from South Korea has arrived in Cambodia to coordinate efforts against organized scam networks preying on South Korean citizens.

Officials say the mission will involve close collaboration with local law enforcement and regional partners to identify and dismantle syndicates responsible for large-scale online and phone-based fraud.

The deployment underscores Seoul’s growing concern over the expansion of transnational criminal activity in Southeast Asia.
