Thai Athlete Prawat Wahoram Suspended for Anti-Doping Violation

Clarifies Missed Tests amid One-Year IPC Ban
Prawat Wahoram, a prominent Thai wheelchair-racing athlete, is facing a one-year suspension imposed by the International Paralympic Committee (IPC) due to an anti-doping rule violation.

In a post on his Facebook account, Prawat explained that he has never used banned substances and attributed the ban to missing doping test appointments.

Prawat outlined that the missed tests were partly due to negligence by himself and his family and a registration system error, which the IPC acknowledged.

Despite his thorough preparation for the 2024 Paralympic Games in France, Prawat expressed deep disappointment over the suspension.
