Pathum Thani police arrested Thanawat Jiracharoenwet, also known as 'Master Od', on Monday for allegedly defrauding customers out of 86 million baht.
He is accused of selling fake sacred items and performing bogus feng shui rituals.
Thanawat, who operates the Tili Huangjui company, was apprehended at his residence in northern Bangkok by the Crime Suppression Division (CSD) officers.
The arrest followed complaints from 28 individuals who claimed they were deceived into making significant payments.
Authorities conducted a search of his home and are holding him pending further investigation.
