A new panda-themed railway station is set to open soon in Chengdu, known as 'Panda City.' Located in Anjing township, the station integrates local culture with transportation infrastructure.
It features panda motifs and bamboo-inspired decorations throughout its design, offering a welcoming environment for travelers.
Among its key features are panda-themed signage, murals, and a prominent 3D panda sculpture in the plaza, poised to become a popular photo spot.
The station aims to provide an immersive experience reflecting Chengdu's renowned panda culture.
Shi Yang, head of Anjing Station, emphasized the station's role in enhancing travel experiences while celebrating the city's cultural heritage.
The station will be a key stop for the popular Panda-themed train operated by China Railway Chengdu Group, which has successfully completed 95 trips, serving around 27,000 passengers in its year-and-a-half-long service.
