Thai retail giant Central Group is set to invest 15 billion baht, approximately $461 million, over the next five years to expand its presence in tourist hotspots beyond Bangkok.
Focusing on areas such as Krabi and Chiang Mai, the company plans to launch a new commercial complex in Krabi, featuring both a mall and residential housing, anticipated for completion in 2025.
Central Pattana, the group's property development arm, announced this strategic move in September 2024 to tap into the increasing number of visitors to these regions.
