New Executive Board Elected for the Economic Reporters Association for 2023-2024

The Economic Reporters Association convenes to confirm its annual operations and elect a new executive board.
On Friday, February 28, 2024, the Economic Reporters Association held its annual general meeting for the year 2023-2024. The meeting focused on approving the operational results of the previous year, 2023, and selecting a new executive board to ensure the continuity of the association's activities.

The assembly unanimously elected Ms. Duangporn Udomthip as the President of the Economic Reporters Association.

Her leadership aims to continue advancing the association's initiatives, expanding activities, and enhancing benefits for its members.

The newly elected board for 2024 is preparing to collaborate with various partners to support enhanced policies that aim to enrich activities providing knowledge and professional development for all association members.

This initiative is particularly significant in the context of rapid technological changes and evolving societal trends, which are continuously shifting news consumption behaviors.

There is a corresponding emphasis on developing additional skills, particularly language proficiency, which is a critical factor in communication and enhancing the career potential of the association's members.

In addition, the Economic Reporters Association is committed to maintaining various welfare benefits for its members, including health insurance, scholarships for members' children, funding for courses at leading educational institutions, and diverse training activities.

These initiatives aim to create a vibrant atmosphere throughout the year 2024.

The Executive Board of the Economic Reporters Association for 2024 consists of ten members:

6. Ms. Kanyanat Butradee, Bangkok Business Newspaper, Registrar
7. Mr. Jirayut Chanthongsakul, InfoQuest News Agency, Public Relations Officer
8. Mr. Thonnachai Kulsing, Thai PBS Television Station, Protocol Officer
9. Ms. Anisa Monrit, Business News Newspaper, Academic Committee Member
10. Ms. Napaphat Jantharudom, TNN Channel 16 Television Station, Academic Committee Member

The Economic Reporters Association, established on November 13, 1978, currently comprises 507 members from 114 organizations.

As it approaches its 47th year, the association continues to strengthen its relationships with members and partners to contribute positively to the nation's economy.
