Prime Minister Paetongtarn Shinawatra is set to launch an economic rehabilitation campaign on Wednesday aimed at reducing the cost of living through discounted product offerings.
This nationwide initiative, slated to conclude in January next year, has already seen a pilot phase in select locations.
The effort is a collaboration among several governmental ministries, including Commerce, Defence, Interior, Finance, Digital Economy and Society, and Public Health, along with business associations like the Chambers of Commerce and the Thai Retailer Association.
The campaign, themed 'bringing big corporations to help little people,' is an extension of the government's 10,000-baht handout scheme.
Paetongtarn will engage in a live interview with entrepreneurs from across the country during the launch, which will be broadcast in five locations: Khon Kaen, Lopburi, Udon Thani, Phuket, and Chiang Rai.
