Satsin and Korrawan Excel in JAT-NB3 Elite Series Two
In the JAT-NB3 Elite Series Two, Chantaurai led the Boys' 16-18 category with an impressive round of 71, including an eagle on the 12th hole. On the Girls' side, Korrawan Bennukul shone with a stunning score of 66, marked by nine birdies. The tournament, part of a collaboration between JAT and NB3 in the US, continues with players competing for spots in future championships.
In the JAT-NB3 Elite Series Two, CHANTAURAI led the Boys' 16-18 category with a round of 71, featuring four birdies and an eagle on the par-5 12th hole, despite five bogeys.
He held a one-shot lead over PASOOT LUENGCHAROEBWATANA, who completed an even-par round with an eagle, one birdie, and three bogeys.
On the Girls' side, KORRAWAN BENNUKUL dominated with a spectacular round of 66, achieving nine birdies, including five consecutive birdies from holes 4 to 8.
NAMO LUANGNITIKUL, the defending champion, posted a 68, with five birdies and one bogey.
In B Class (ages 14-16), RATTHAWIT RATTHACHAIANAN and JESSADA CHUANGPRAYOON tied for first place, both scoring 74, with their rounds marked by multiple birdies and bogeys.
For the Girls' B Class, THANYANATE BHUMMABHUTI scored a solid 73 with four birdies, followed closely by NATCHAREY KHUNAPASUT with a 74.
This tournament is part of a collaboration between the JUNIOR ASIAN TOUR (JAT) and the NOTAH BEGAY III (NB3) Junior Golf Championship in the US.
Players compete for points in the JAT Order of Merit for a chance to advance to the JAT-NB3 ASIAN CHAMPIONSHIP and potentially the NB3 World Championship.
The 2024 season will see the first three events at LAKEVIEW RESORT & GOLF CLUB, Phetchaburi, followed by more events at LOTUS VALLEY GOLF RESORT, CHACHOENGSAO, and the season’s conclusion at ROYAL HILLS GOLF RESORT & SPA, NAKHON NAYOK.
