A Thai worker was killed, and another sustained a severe concussion after an anti-tank missile strike hit Yir’on, an agricultural estate in northern Israel, according to the Royal Thai Embassy in Tel Aviv.
The incident, occurring on Friday, was confirmed by Magen David Adom, an Israeli emergency service.
The estate is near the Lebanese border, an area declared a closed military zone due to the ongoing conflict between Israel and Hezbollah.
Thai nationals in the region are advised to contact the embassy for potential evacuation.
The Israeli government has designated 11 areas as closed military zones, including Metula, Misgav Am, and Rosh Hanikra.
