Thailand’s Push to Enhance the Digital Content Industry
Thailand has introduced a new policy to enhance its digital content industry, particularly in e-sports and gaming, as announced by Deputy Prime Minister Prasert Chantararuangthong. The Digital Economy Promotion Agency, or DEPA, is spearheading initiatives to develop industry skills, infrastructure, and supportive regulations. DEPA President Nuttapon Nimmanphatcharin outlined plans to create career pathways and training for young people interested in this sector.

DEPA's President and CEO, Nuttapon Nimmanphatcharin, detailed programs targeting career pathways in gaming, including roles for esports athletes and related professions, ensuring youth gain essential skills and training.
