Thai AirAsia X Unveils ‘LET’S Thailand’ Fare Sale on New Sendai–Bangkok Route

Thai AirAsia X Unveils ‘LET’S Thailand’ Fare Sale on New Sendai–Bangkok Route

New promotional campaign offers discounted one-way fares from Sendai to Bangkok with connections to key Thai destinations through spring 2026
Thai AirAsia X has launched a targeted promotional campaign tied to its newly operational Sendai–Bangkok (Don Mueang) air service, underscoring continued growth in international connectivity and travel demand between Japan and Thailand.

The airline’s “LET’S Thailand Sale” offers promotional one-way fares starting from approximately nineteen thousand nine hundred and ninety yen on the Sendai–Bangkok route, with additional options for links to Phuket, Krabi and Chiang Mai during the travel period running into spring next year.

This fare sale, which runs through early January before travel through April, is designed to build momentum following the December commencement of four weekly round-trip flights connecting the Tohoku region of Japan directly with Thailand’s capital region.

Thai AirAsia X began the Sendai–Bangkok service in December as the only nonstop link between the Tohoku region and Bangkok, reflecting strong interest from both leisure and business travellers in the expanded international market.

The airline operates the route with Airbus A330-300 aircraft and has extended the service into late April to support peak travel demand, including the Thai New Year period.

The promotional fares include all taxes and charges and are subject to limited seat availability and certain blackout dates.

By pairing competitive pricing with enhanced network access from Japan’s regional airport to Thailand’s key airports and onward domestic connections, Thai AirAsia X aims to stimulate inbound tourism and reinforce Thailand’s appeal as a leading travel destination for Japanese visitors.

Travel industry observers note that these developments align with broader efforts to expand tourism ties and diversify source markets for Thailand’s tourism sector into 2026.
