Methamphetamine Seized in Cement Art Bound for Taiwan
Police have seized 30.5 kilograms of crystal methamphetamine hidden in decorative cement ware at Bangkok Port, destined for shipment to Taiwan. The drugs were found inside cat, giraffe, deer, and goat stucco dolls and have a street value of 30.5 million baht. The discovery is under further investigation by the Narcotics Suppression Bureau.

The drugs, valued at 30.5 million baht, were concealed inside cat, giraffe, deer, and goat stucco dolls, as well as decorative fountains.
Panthong Loykulnan, spokesman of the Customs Department, reported that the illicit shipment, bound for Taiwan, was intercepted by the Seaport Interdiction Task Force on Wednesday.
The discovery has been handed over to the Narcotics Suppression Bureau (NSB) for further investigation.
From October 1 of last year to August 22, the Customs Department has recorded 126 drug smuggling cases worth over 900 million baht.
