Nation Group Awards 115 Scholarships to Employees’ Children in Bangkok

Nation Group's initiative aims to support education and ease financial burdens for employees' families.
Nation Group (Thailand) held a scholarship award ceremony on Wednesday at its headquarters in Bangkok’s Bang Na district, presenting 115 scholarships to the children of its employees.

This marks the 37th edition of the event, which aims to enhance educational opportunities for employees' families.

The ceremony was presided over by Nation Group CEO Shine Bunnag, alongside notable executives including Deputy CEO Baakbun Boonlert, Executive Editor Weerasak Phongaksorn, Chief Marketing Officer Nutwara Saengwarin, Assistant CEO Aeumsree Boonhachairat, and Special Adviser Adisak Limparungpatanakij.

The scholarships awarded cover educational levels ranging from kindergarten to bachelor’s degree.

The initiative intends to support employees by alleviating financial pressures associated with their children's education, ultimately enhancing their overall quality of life and contributing to family stability.

CEO Shine Bunnag highlighted the organisation’s belief in education as a fundamental element in child development, acknowledging its role in shaping future leaders.

He reiterated Nation Group’s commitment to supporting educational access for children while reducing financial burdens for employees and boosting their morale.

During the ceremony, Shine expressed optimism that the scholarship recipients would leverage this opportunity to become valuable contributors to society, utilizing their acquired knowledge and skills for national development.

He stated, "Education is not just a learning process but also a symbol of commitment and discipline, leading to pride for parents and guardians.

Most importantly, after graduation, continue learning to adapt to the world’s ever-changing landscape."

In addition to the scholarship awards, Nation Group organized a luncheon and provided snacks for children and parents, creating a festive and supportive environment.

The scholarship programme aligns with Nation Group’s human resource policies, focusing on enhancing organisational engagement, prioritising employee welfare, and promoting sustainable educational opportunities for youth.
