Passenger Detained After Engaging in Indecent Behavior on SWISS Air Flight
A German man was arrested in Dresden after allegedly masturbating in front of passengers on a flight heading to Zurich.
A thirty-three-year-old German national was apprehended upon his arrival in Dresden after reportedly masturbating on a SWISS Air flight from Zurich.
The event transpired during a recent morning flight when a female passenger noticed the man with his hands in his trousers, leading her to request a change of seat.
Crew members issued several warnings to him before he stopped the behavior.
Upon landing at Dresden Airport, federal police took him into custody.
During interrogation, the man acknowledged being sexually active in front of two women but expressed confusion about why it was deemed a criminal act, claiming he had not openly exposed his genitals.
Authorities have confirmed that the suspect is being investigated for public nuisance and inappropriate behavior during the flight.
This incident follows a separate case from a few months ago when a man was arrested on an Etihad Airways flight from Abu Dhabi to Boston for masturbating under a blanket during the flight.
That man, an Indian citizen, was detained by U.S. federal authorities upon his arrival at Boston Logan International Airport.
