Warning of major quake in three months is fake news: Authorities
The Anti-Fake News Centre has issued a statement warning the public about fake news circulating on social media regarding a major earthquake striking Thailand within three months.
The Meteorological Department has verified that the warning shared on Facebook and other platforms is false.
According to the department, current technology is not capable of predicting when or where an earthquake will occur.
