The 70th Bangkok Gems and Jewelry Fair, held at the Queen Sirikit National Convention Center, exceeded expectations with purchase orders totaling over one hundred million US dollars.
Organized by the Department of International Trade Promotion (DITP) and The Gem and Jewelry Institute of Thailand (GIT), the event featured 1,101 exhibitors from 20 countries and attracted nearly 40,000 visitors.
Significant product categories included gemstones, silver jewellery, diamonds, gold jewellery, and fine jewellery.
Plans are underway to expand the exhibition area by more than 100 additional booths for the next fair, scheduled for February 22-26, 2025.
