Huawei executive Richard Liu proposed the integration of Internet of Things (IoT), Cloud, and AI technologies to various Thai transport agencies to support land, water, rail, and air logistics.
Liu emphasized the effectiveness of these technologies in China, citing a 66% reduction in manpower, 30% in operational costs, and 17% in energy consumption.
Huawei's smart plan aims to transform Thailand into a regional transport and tourism hub through advanced tech solutions like intelligent security for freight forwarding and a centralized operation coordination center.
Additionally, AI analysis is posited to enhance traffic management, aligning with the Ministry's promotion of transport connectivity and disaster management policies.
