Central Pattana Unveils 700 Million Baht Campaign to Boost Thai Tourism
The 'World's Great Celebration 2025' aims to position Thailand as a global destination.
Central Pattana Plc (CPN), a leading retail and property developer, has launched 'The World's Great Celebration 2025' campaign by investing 700 million baht.
In collaboration with the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT), the Embassy of Finland, Sculptra by Galderma, Finnair, and other partners, the initiative seeks to enhance the Thai economy and promote Thailand as a world-class tourist destination.
Nattakit Tangpoonsinthana, Chief Marketing Officer of CPN, noted recovering confidence post severe flooding in northern and northeastern Thailand, and a promising outlook for the fourth quarter bolstered by the 2025 fiscal budget and peak tourism season.
Targeting both Thai and international tourists, from regions like China, Singapore, Malaysia, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Russia, the US, Europe, and the Middle East, the campaign will host events across 15 malls nationwide.
Highlights include transforming Central malls into 'Santa Village Themed Park Experiences' and hosting 'The First Art Toy X'mas Decoration in the World' at CentralWorld.
Additional activities feature local-themed Christmas trees and craft markets at key locations.
The initiative aligns with TAT’s strategy to drive domestic economic growth and aims to boost customer traffic at Central shopping centers by 25-30% during its 60-day run from November 1, 2024, to January 5, 2025.
