Thai Airways Cancels Taipei Flights Due to Typhoon
Thai Airways International has cancelled flights between Bangkok and Taipei due to Typhoon Krathon causing severe weather in Taiwan. The typhoon is expected to pass Taiwan soon with no impact on Thailand.
Thai Airways International Plc (THAI) has cancelled two flights between Bangkok and Taipei due to Typhoon Krathon.
The affected flights are TG636 on October 2 and TG637 on October 3, as the typhoon brings heavy rain and gusty winds to Taiwan Taoyuan International Airport.
Passengers impacted by the cancellation are advised to contact the airline's customer service at 02-356-1111 for rebooking.
The Thai Meteorological Department reports that the typhoon will have no impact on Thailand's weather, as it is expected to move past Taiwan on Wednesday or Thursday.
