Canada and ASEAN have reaffirmed their commitment to strengthening their strategic partnership during the 13th Meeting of the ASEAN-Canada Joint Cooperation Committee held at the ASEAN Secretariat.
Discussions centered on developments in both regions and reviewed extensive cooperation, noting substantive progress in the implementation of the ASEAN-Canada Plan of Action (2021-2025).
Both parties look forward to negotiating a new Plan of Action (2026-2030) to further enhance their partnership.
