ExxonMobil Thailand Contributes Substantial Support to Thai Red Cross Flood Relief Efforts
Energy company and its employees provide targeted financial assistance to bolster ongoing flood recovery in Thailand
ExxonMobil affiliates in Thailand, together with its ExxonMobil Club and employees, have made a significant financial contribution to the Thai Red Cross Society’s flood relief operations.
The donation of three hundred seventy-five thousand baht was formally handed over to representatives of the Thai Red Cross Society’s Friends in Need Volunteers Foundation to support immediate relief and recovery work for communities affected by flooding.
The contribution was presented in coordination with senior executives and staff from ExxonMobil’s Thailand operations, highlighting close cooperation between the private sector and Thailand’s leading humanitarian institutions.
The Thai Red Cross Society has continued to play a central role in disaster response, mobilising volunteers, medical services, and essential supplies to assist flood-affected populations across several regions.
Thailand has faced persistent seasonal flooding linked to heavy monsoon rainfall, causing displacement, damage to homes, and disruption to livelihoods.
In this context, corporate support has strengthened national relief efforts by accelerating aid delivery and supporting longer-term recovery initiatives.
The Thai Red Cross Society’s nationwide network has enabled rapid deployment of assistance to areas of greatest need.
ExxonMobil’s donation forms part of its broader commitment to community engagement and resilience in Thailand, where the company has maintained long-standing partnerships in disaster preparedness, health, and social development.
The initiative underscores the role of responsible business leadership in supporting Thailand’s recovery and reinforcing national humanitarian capacity.
