South Korean metaverse developer Mammo6, led by CEO Yoo Cholho, updated its 'Galaxity: EARTH - BANGKOK' to include real-time data. Users can now experience Bangkok's weather and time changes within the metaverse. Future plans include adding precipitation, population density, and traffic data to develop a smart city platform.
Mammo6, a South Korean metaverse platform developer led by CEO Yoo Cholho, has updated its Thailand service 'Galaxity: EARTH - BANGKOK' to include real-time city data.
The integrated data encompasses time and weather, allowing users to experience the passage of time and weather conditions in virtual Bangkok as they would in reality.
Changes like the sky darkening and rain falling are mirrored in the metaverse.
The update also captures the dynamic day and night atmospheres of Bangkok, showcasing areas like Khaosan Road turning from quiet streets during the day to bustling hubs of street vendors at night.
Yoo Cholho stated that the metaverse is evolving into a space that coexists with reality, with plans to add more city information like precipitation, population density, and traffic conditions to develop a smart city platform.
The Galaxity Earth project aims to digitally twin famous cities worldwide, with Bangkok as its first city available on Google Play Store and Apple App Store.
