Thai Beverage Plc has awarded funding to support educational projects aligned with the Sufficiency Economy philosophy. Fifteen schools received grants totaling 150,000 baht at the Sustainability Expo 2024 in Bangkok. The initiative aims to integrate royal initiatives into education, emphasizing sustainable practices and moral values.
Thai Beverage Plc has initiated a funding program to support educational projects aligned with the Sufficiency Economy philosophy.
The company awarded 150,000 baht in total grants to 15 schools during a ceremony at the Sustainability Expo 2024, held at the Queen Sirikit National Convention Center in Bangkok.
Thai Beverage CEO Thapana Sirivadhanabhakdi, along with representatives from the Office of the Royal Development Projects Board and the Office of the Basic Education Commission, distributed grants of 10,000 baht each to 10 primary and five secondary schools.
The initiative aims to integrate King Bhumibol Adulyadej’s royal initiatives into the curriculum, as exemplified by Pak Bueng Singto School and Wat Pitulathirat Rangsarit Kindergarten in Chachoengsao.
These schools have implemented projects like organic composting and herbal soap-making as part of their learning experiences.
Sumet Tantivejkul from the Chaipattana Foundation emphasized the importance of King Rama IX's teachings in sustainable development and the need for fostering moral values in youth.
