Royal Support for School Bus Fire Victims' Funerals
Their Majesties the King and Queen sponsored the funeral rites for 20 students and three teachers who died in a school bus fire in Pathum Thani. The ceremonies are at Wat Khao Phraya Sangkaram School in Uthai Thani. General Surayud Chulanont, on behalf of Their Majesties, delivered wreaths, condolences, and sponsorship for the cremation, while the Rajaprajanugroh Foundation will provide scholarships for the children of the deceased teachers.

The Privy Council President, General Surayud Chulanont, delivered wreaths and conveyed Their Majesties' condolences.
They will also sponsor the cremation and provide scholarships for the deceased teachers' children via the Rajaprajanugroh Foundation.
Additional support included household supplies and a Buddhist chanting ceremony.
Education Minister Pol General Permpoon Chidchob and Deputy Interior Minister Sabeeda Thaised, who visited the school, offered financial assistance and posthumous medals of honor to the teachers.
