Thai Universities Partner with MSD to Boost Pharmaceutical Education
A partnership between MSD Thailand and four major Thai universities aims to advance pharmaceutical education by offering internships in Medical Science Liaison and Market Access. Effective from July 2024, the collaboration will enhance student skills and contribute to healthcare development in Thailand. Through hands-on experience, students will gain industry knowledge crucial for their careers.
A significant partnership has been formed between MSD (Thailand) Ltd. and four major Thai universities: Chulalongkorn University, Khon Kaen University, Chiang Mai University, and Prince of Songkla University.
The agreement, effective from July 30, 2024, to July 30, 2029, aims to offer pharmacy students hands-on experience in the pharmaceutical industry, particularly in the fields of Medical Science Liaison (MSL) and Market Access (MA), enhancing their skills for the future workforce.
Asst. Prof. Dr. Narin Chansri and Dr. Mary Srethapakdi have underscored the importance of this collaboration in aligning academic and industry efforts to advance public health and education.
Students will engage in specialized internships that focus on key pharmaceutical industry practices and standards, significantly contributing to Thailand's healthcare development and economic growth.
