Thailand Embraces Agentic AI to Boost Business Intelligence and Economic Growth

With rising adoption across industries, agentic artificial intelligence is empowering Thai businesses to make smarter decisions, improve customer engagement, and unlock new revenue streams—paving the way for a digitally-driven economy.

Thailand’s Strategic Leap into Agentic AI

The global surge in agentic artificial intelligence (AI) adoption is gaining impressive traction in Thailand, signaling a transformative shift in how businesses engage with data, consumers, and decision-making. Unlike traditional AI tools that act as assistants, agentic AI systems are designed to operate autonomously—analyzing, planning, and evolving without constant human intervention. This leap from automation to autonomy is poised to revolutionize the Thai business landscape.

Teeradet Dumrongbhalasitr, Chief Executive of EGG Digital—Thailand’s leading provider of big data analytics and AI-powered marketing solutions—describes agentic AI as “a game-changer” that goes far beyond conventional digital tools. “Agentic AI marks the shift from smart tools to a truly intelligent, autonomous experience,” he noted.

Business Intelligence Reimagined

At the heart of agentic AI is the ability to process massive datasets, integrate advanced technology, and deliver creative intelligence that informs real-time business decisions. It enables companies to gain a deep, contextual understanding of consumer behavior and respond with tailored, timely solutions.

“Thai businesses and brands that implement agentic AI will gain the advantage of dynamic personalization,” said Mr. Teeradet. “They can deliver appropriate offers at the right time through the right channels—enhancing both user satisfaction and business performance.”

According to EGG Digital, the AI and data analytics market by 2028 will encompass five major capabilities:

  1. AI-Driven Analytics

  2. Natural Language Processing for Data Interaction

  3. Personalized and Contextual Visualizations

  4. Predictive and Prescriptive Insights at Scale

  5. Unified Data Ecosystems

To drive this future, EGG Digital has partnered with global AI technology leaders, implementing agentic AI solutions across its three core business pillars: analytics AI and consultation, media convergence, and marketing technology solutions.

Real Results and Rapid Adoption

The results of early AI adoption in Thailand are already encouraging. A report by PwC showed that 17.8% of Thai businesses had adopted AI by 2024, with 73.3% planning to do so in the near future. Among small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), the adoption rate is even more striking—70% are either using or testing AI tools, and 90% of those report revenue growth due to AI-driven innovations.

Consumer behavior is also shifting. A 2025 Telenor Asia study found that 77% of Thai respondents are already using AI tools in their personal lives, especially for entertainment like social media engagement and video streaming—indicating high levels of digital literacy and readiness for AI integration.

Innovations by EGG Digital

EGG Digital has also introduced five customer experience engines powered by its proprietary AI Agent system. Among these is the “First-Party Data – Big Data” engine, which optimizes marketing campaigns through dynamic personalization. Another innovation is the Agentic AI Lab—a specialized model designed to help businesses make faster, more accurate, and more intelligent decisions.

These developments align with the government’s broader digital economy ambitions and position Thailand as a rising leader in AI transformation across Southeast Asia.
