Thailand’s air force has briefed military attachés from twenty-two countries on the security situation along the Thai–Cambodian border, underscoring Bangkok’s commitment to transparency, stability, and regional cooperation.

The briefing was held as part of Thailand’s broader effort to keep international partners informed following recent incidents near the frontier and to demonstrate the steps being taken to prevent further escalation.

During the session, air force officials outlined the sequence of events that led to heightened attention on the border, the current security posture, and the mechanisms in place to manage tensions through established bilateral and multilateral channels.

Particular emphasis was placed on Thailand’s defensive approach, coordination with civilian authorities, and adherence to international norms governing border security and conflict prevention.

Thai representatives stressed that communication with Cambodia continues through military and diplomatic frameworks, including joint committees designed to address misunderstandings and maintain calm.

They also highlighted measures aimed at protecting civilians, ensuring the safety of personnel, and avoiding miscalculations, while reaffirming Thailand’s respect for sovereignty and international law.

The briefing allowed foreign attachés to seek clarification and gain a direct understanding of Thailand’s assessment of the situation, reinforcing confidence in Bangkok’s handling of sensitive security matters.

Thai officials said such engagements reflect the country’s responsible leadership role and its intention to work constructively with neighbors and the wider international community to preserve peace along the border.
