Thai–Belgian Venture Secures Thailand’s First Asia Tomorrowland Festival in Pattaya for December 2026
Global electronic music brand partners with Thai firms to stage a three-day festival and launch an event academy, boosting tourism and creative industries
A Thai–Belgian joint venture has received official approval to hold the first Asian edition of the world-renowned Tomorrowland electronic dance music festival in Thailand in December two thousand twenty-six, marking a significant milestone for the country’s events and tourism sectors.
The Board of Investment (BOI) has endorsed WeAreOne.World (Thailand) Co., Ltd., a partnership between Belgium’s TL International and Thailand’s One Asia Ventures, to organise “Tomorrowland Thailand,” a three-day mega-festival at Wisdom Valley in Pattaya’s Chonburi province.
The inaugural event is expected to draw up to fifty thousand attendees per day, with more than sixty percent anticipated to come from overseas, positioning the festival as a major international draw.
Organisers and authorities say the event will generate significant economic impact, with projections estimating at least twenty-one billion baht in value over its first five years of operation.
In addition to the festival itself, the venture includes the establishment of a Tomorrowland Academy aimed at transferring international event-management expertise to Thai professionals.
The initiative is intended to strengthen local capabilities in large-scale event planning and operations, reinforcing Thailand’s creative economy and positioning the country as a premier destination for global live entertainment.
The BOI’s approval is part of broader efforts to attract world-class events and stimulate tourism by easing regulatory barriers, including visa and work permit facilitation for international artists and crews.
Officials have described the festival as a strategic component of Thailand’s international tourism brand, designed to complement the nation’s portfolio of cultural and entertainment offerings and to draw high-spending visitors.
