Bangkok hosts major electric vehicle and smart transport expo highlighting Thailand’s drive to lead Southeast Asia’s e-mobility transformation
Thailand showcased its latest advances in electric vehicles (EV) charging infrastructure and smart mobility solutions at EVCharge Live and Mobility Live Thailand 2026, held at the Bangkok International Trade & Exhibition Centre on January 28–29. The events brought together thousands of industry professionals from government bodies, transport authorities, utilities, vehicle manufacturers and technology innovators to explore cutting-edge technologies, policy frameworks and partnerships shaping the nation’s transition to sustainable, connected transport.
Thailand’s leadership in EV adoption and renewable energy was a central theme, reinforcing its ambition to establish itself as the EV and clean mobility hub of the Asia-Pacific region.
The combined exhibitions featured dedicated conference programmes with more than 120 expert speakers addressing trends in public transport electrification, grid integration, smart charging systems and intelligent transport solutions.
Government officials, including the Ministerial Advisor to the Minister of Industry, delivered keynote addresses outlining strategic roadmaps for industry growth and infrastructure development.
Participants engaged with demonstrations and showcases from over 50 solution providers exhibiting ultra-fast and smart charging technologies, advanced energy storage and next-generation vehicle innovations that support Thailand’s mobility goals.
Mobility Live Thailand highlighted the broader future of transport with sessions on electric fleets, Mobility-as-a-Service (MaaS), urban mobility platforms and transport digitisation, attracting thousands of decision-makers focused on sustainability and electrification.
The events also provided networking opportunities for stakeholders across ASEAN and beyond, fostering collaboration among public sector leaders, private investors and technology firms to accelerate Thailand’s transition to a low-emission, smart mobility ecosystem.
